Man convicted for drug trafficking

SJ-DistrictCourtSamdrup Jongkhar District Court convicted a 28-year-old man to non-compoundable prison term of four years and 10 months for trafficking narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

Samdrup Jongkhar Police had arrested the man on May 2.

The accused, as per the Penal Code of Bhutan was charged under the felony of third degree.
