The Office of the Attorney General charge-sheeted a 54-year-old man for the rape of a minor, to the Pema Gatshel District Court, today.
Jomotshangkha Police had arrested the suspect in July, this year. According to the investigation, the suspect, who is a local healer, was treating the 16-year-old minor, who is suffering from epilepsy.
The minor, who had been undergoing treatment from the healer for three years, said she was raped and battered an entire day.
However, the case was reported only after the second incident of battery.
