The Police in Punakha arrested a 47-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his brother-in-law. The victim has sustained injuries on his left side of his face and jaw. He had also sustained with multiple cuts on his hands and legs.
A source said the accused and victim were under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened in Serigang town under Kabisa Gewog.
The man is being treated in Punakha District Hospital. He is said to be in a stable condition.
