The Dagana police have arrested a 36-year-old man, for allegedly shooting a man with an arrow and killing him on the spot. He was arrested yesterday.
The deceased succumbed to excessive bleeding from nose and mouth after the arrow pierced his chest five inches deep. The arrow was released from a distance of about 20 meters.
The incident took place on Tuesday at around 6:30 pm in Menchugang village under Drukjeygang in Dagana.
The suspect in his statement to the police said he was only trying to threaten the man, who he suspects, was having an affair with his wife. He said he never intended to shoot.
The case is under investigation.
