Man apprehended for possessing controlled substances

Police in Gelegphu arrested a man for illegal possession of marijuana and controlled pharmaceutical tablets on September 28.

The man was intercepted at the Indo-Bhutan border gate during inspection carried out by the police to create awareness on illicit trafficking of drugs and narcotic substances.
