A 32-year-old man died on the spot after his friend allegedly stabbed him on his chest in Thimphu, yesterday. The incident took place at around 3.15 PM, following an argument at the deceased aunt’s place in Lungtenzampa.
Both the deceased and the suspect were eating lunch at the time of the incident.
The suspect is under police custody. The suspect also tested positive for illegal drugs. Police say that the suspect is a repeated offender.
