Continuous lightning strikes towards the evening, yesterday, killed two goats and caused damages to properties in Bepoteng (Belbotey) and Dewachen (Shivalaya) chiwogs of Tashichhoeling gewog in Samtse.
The lightening which dug holes of over four feet in the ground damaged Television sets, refrigerator, and electrical wires and fittings. The lightning also killed 2 goats belonging to the gewog’s driver. However, no human casualty was reported.
