With schools and institutes still closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic, farmers of Themnangbi village in Monggar are left with the vegetable market in Monggar town only to sell their produce. Farmers are now worried they might be left with excess farm produce.
However, the government’s recent decision to temporarily ban the import of commonly grown vegetables has brought some relief to the farmers.
