Lack of bridge causes inconvenience

Lack-of-bridge-over-a-Kugturgangchhu-in-Gangkhardung-VillageLack of bridge over a Kugturgangchhu in Gangkhardung Village under Boomdeling Gewog in Tashi Yangtse is causing inconvenience to the people. The bridge could not be constructed due to lack of budget.

Given the situation, around 300 metres of farm road has been temporarily constructed through a private land. After over two years, the owner of land is had refused to let the people to use the temporary road. He had relented after the gewog had intervened.Lack-of-bridge-over-a-Kugturgangchhu-in-Gangkhardung-Village.

The gewog officials said they are trying to pool in the budget that has been kept for farm road maintenance and construct a bridge. For time being, a meeting between the owner and the public will be conducted to find an alternative.
