Most businesses in Tendruk and Gola town in Samtse are yet to use the Druk Trace app, a contact tracing mobile application developed by the government to combat COVID-19.
While the government has repeatedly advocated the use of the app since its launch on April 20, businesses and people in general at Tendruk and Gola town were not aware of the app and its usage. A manual record-keeping of customers who do not own a smartphone was not being implemented as well.
