Kinley Wangdi, 23, won the title Mr. Phuentshogling at the second round of the Dungkhag’s Building Championship held, last Saturday.
Eleven bodybuilders took part in the championship.
The organizer, Pema Thekchok, said the championship would be an annual event hereafter, as the number of body builders in Phuentshogling is increasing.
The first championship was held in 2009 but was discontinued because of lack of participants.
The Bhutan Bodybuilding and Weight Lifting Federation, with financial support from Bhutan Polyethylene Private Limited, organized the event with.
The event is part of the 2016 Asian Championship’s preparation.
