Indo-Bhutan car rally arrived in Phuentshogling. The fifth Indo-Bhutan car rally arrived in Phuentshogling, this evening. The rally, which is conducted after every two years, was flagged off from Siliguri, West Bengal, yesterday afternoon.

Including the officials and marshals, there are 27 cars in the rally this time. However, unlike the previous rally, this time, there are no Bhutanese participants.

The Indo-Bhutan Friendship Association conducts the event in recognition of strong bond between Bhutan and India. It first began in 2007.

The rally also commemorates the 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

Tomorrow, the rally will leave for Thimphu, its finishing point. According to officials, this rally is the only international motor-rally happening in India.
