The Ambassador of India to Bhutan, V.P. Haran presented his credentials to His Majesty the King.
V.P. Haran joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1980, and has served at Indian missions in Moscow, Kabul, Colombo and Brussels, and at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi as Deputy Secretary, Director and Joint Secretary.
He also served as Deputy Permanent Representative to WTO, Permanent Mission of India in Geneva, Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, and Ambassador of India to Syria.
