Without a farm road, farmers in Zabala village under Dungmaed Gewog in Pema Gatshel find it difficult to carry out the farming activities like in other villages. Those farmers with landholding in the village are not so forthcoming in cultivating their fields. Considering the difficulty in getting there, leaving their fields fallow is a more convenient option for them.
