Horticulture Association of Bhutan awarded Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Award 2023

The Horticulture Association of Bhutan’s president has been awarded the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Award 2023. The award was presented on Monday in India.

Tshering Wangchuk, the president of the non-profit organisation was recognised for his contributions towards promoting horticulture in Bhutan.

The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation which presents the annual award has several main projects. Tshering Wangchuk received the award in the field of providing urban amenities to rural areas.
