HM Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck graces Bhutan Week in Delhi

Her Majesty Gyalyum Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck graced the inauguration of the ‘Bhutan Week’ in New Delhi as Chief Guest along with the Vice-President of India Venkaiah Naidu yesterday.  

The ‘Bhutan Week’ is being organized by the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in New Delhi in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Bhutan and India.

The event is being held at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts Complex of New Delhi.

The ‘Bhutan Week’ is the biggest event of Bhutan ever held in India with 300 Bhutanese participants showcasing Bhutan’s unique culture through 13 arts and crafts and cultural performance.

The event also features Bhutanese cuisine, fashion, films, trade and tourism ends on Sunday.
