Despite the heavy rain, people of all ages came from Buli and even from far off villages like Namshong and Bardo, having travelled for several hours.

The people expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to get a thorough medical checkup so close to their villages.

The medical team performed endoscopy, ultrasound, eye checkup, dental treatment, minor surgeries, and diagnosed and treated various ailments.

It was a great relief especially for the people suffering acute pain due to gallstones and kidney stones, who were taken to Zhemgang and operated upon.

The medical team performed over 10 minor surgeries, 30 major surgeries and 160 endoscopies.
