His Majesty meets people of Yamthrag

Their Majesties in ChumeyHis Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, along with His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, met with the people of Yamthrag under Chhumig Gewog in Bumthang, yesterday. Thousands gathered from across the valley to meet Their Majesties and His Royal Highness.

Their Majesties in Chumey--His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, visited the ancestral maternal home of Her Majesty at Yamthrag in Bumthang, with His Royal Highness The Gyalsey.

To mark the special occasion of His Royal Highness’ first visit, the people offered a traditional ceremonial welcome.

Their Majesties introduced His Royal Highness to the community, represented by students, religious institutions, local leaders, and the people.
