His Majesty the King granted an audience to the family members of Late Gopa Tenzin Dorji- the RBA soldier who was killed in an ambush in Sarpang last week.
His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen spent over an hour with the bereaved family. His Majesty spoke of the great virtue of a soldier’s life in the selfless service of the nation and fellow countrymen.
His Majesty granted semso to the wife and the parents of the deceased and assured the children that His Majesty would always look after their welfare hereafter.
Late Gopa Tenzin Dorji is survived by his wife and three children.
