HM in Paro WochuIt was a special day for the people of Wochu and other villages in Paro’s Lungnyi Gewog, who welcomed His Majesty The King to their homes and fields, before enjoying a Public Tokha granted by His Majesty, together with their friends, neighbours, and their King.
HM in Paro Wochu--His Majesty walked through the villages visiting the homes of the people, the community lhakhang and the naktshang, and observing the people at work in their paddy fields. Among the homes that His Majesty visited was of the village blacksmith, who still uses ancient traditional methods to forge traditional swords and knives.HM in Paro Wochu-
