His Majesty grants audience to India’s border road DG

HM Grants Audience to Border Roads DGHis Majesty The King granted an Audience to the director general of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) of India, Lt. General, Suresh Sharma.

He is a recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, a military award of India given to recognize distinguished service.

A press release from the Royal Office of Media said the Border Roads Organisation, besides developing and maintaining roads along the Indian border, also renders these services to neighbouring countries.

The release also said in Bhutan, BRO works through Project Dantak, and has assisted in major infrastructure development since 1961.
