On behalf of His Majesty the King, the Home Minister, Damchoe Dorji, distributed jackets to the students of Laya Lower Secondary School and Lungo Extended Classroom in Gasa.
His Majesty the King had sent some 200 jackets to be distributed to the students. Even the teachers, NFE Instructors and supporting staff received a jacket each.
“His Majesty the King’s gift will encourage students to study well…” said school’s Principal, Sigay Dorji.
The students and teachers were jubilant to receive the gift.
