Coinciding with Buddha Parinivana or Duechen Nga Zom, His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Gyeltsuen, the advisors of the interim government and the Lopens of the Zhung Dratshang attended the Namgay Tongchoe and Neten Chudru prayers at the Kuenrey of the Tashichhodzong this morning.
The prayers were performed by the central monastic body and presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
Later, His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Gyetshuen, His Holiness the Je Khenpo, the Lopens of the Central Monastic Body and advisors of the interim government circumambulated the Namgeymi Kilkhor.
His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyeltshuen offered Nyendhar and prayers.
