His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over Samdrup Jongkhar’s first-ever Moenlam Chenmo. The week-long Moenlam Chenmo began, today.
About 200 monks from 
Thimphu, Pema Gatshel and Samdrup Jongkhar Dratshangs are also taking part in the prayer ceremony. Thousands of devotees from the six eastern dzongkhags have come to receive blessings.
The prayer ceremony is also to commemorate the 60th Birth Anniversary of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. It will be held annually, henceforth.
