Thousands had gathered at Taktse Institute of Language and Culture Studies in Trongsa to seek blessings from His Holiness the Je Khenpo, yesterday.
His Holiness was presiding over prayer ceremony and celebration of the three-day of the first ever parents’ day.
The celebration included honoring senior citizens of the locality in Trongsa.
From this year onwards, the descending day of Lord Buddha will be celebrated as the parents’ day.
