His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over a weeklong Dramar Drupchen at Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse.
This year’s annual Drupchen is being performed for the wellbeing of His Royal Highness Gyalsey Jigme Ngamgyal Wangchuck.
Along with His Holiness the Je Khenpo, 150 monks from Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang are also performing the religious prayers. It was first instituted in 2015.
The Drupchen will end on Sunday with Ngudrup-Lawang.
