His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated Zepa Chungye or the twelve noble deeds of Buddha Thongdrel at Rinchentse Lhakhang of Darla Gewog in Chhukha yesterday.
Thousands of people from various parts of Chhukha received blessings from the first ever Thongdrel in the Lhakhang.
During the event, His Holiness also inaugurated the first ever tshechu in the lhakhang. The tshechu will now be an annual event.
