His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated the Mani Dungdrup Lobdra, in Punakha, yesterday.
Built at the cost of Nu.51 MN the Lobdra can accommodate 100 monks. The Lobdra has 30 classrooms, 150 rooms and principal’s office. It also has a separate kitchen and a dining hall.
The school was constructed with funds from the Government of India.
His Holiness also consecrated Lekshey Juney Shedra and a newly constructed prayer wheel in Punakha.
