His Holiness confers Tashi Lekdhar to Busa Trulku

His Holiness the Je Khenpo conferred Tashi Lekdhar to 43-year-old Busa Trulku Khentrul Sonam Gyeltshen in Autsho, Lhuentse yesterday.

Trulku Khentrul Sonam Gyeltshen is currently the Chairperson of Dori Lingpa Foundation. Trulku began his monastic education at the age of eight from PunThim Dratshang where he studied until he turned 12.

After that, Trulku moved to Gangtey Goenpa Shedra where he completed his monastic education under Gangtey Trulku. He completed Lho Sum Choe Sum or three-year retreat while at the Shedra.

Trulku has received numerous transmissions from His Holiness the 69th Je Khenpo Tenzin Dendup, Late Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Gangtey Trulku.
