His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over the first-ever oral transmission of his own Kabum, a self-composed collection of teachings and practices starting yesterday at the Autsho Central School in Lhuentse. At the request of six eastern district administrations and Rabdeys, His Holiness will administer 11 volumes of the Kabum’s oral transmission for over two weeks.
Nearly 11,000 devotees from across the country are attending the religious event. Devotees are being served meals and refreshments for the entirety of the event. Similar oral transmissions of the Kabum will be held in the rest of the districts.
