Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck concluded the Royal Tour in Dagana and Tsirang. Her Majesty visited places in the two districts to oversee the projects initiated by the Tarayana Foundation. Since 2003, the Foundation under the patronage of Her Majesty has been taking an active role in uplifting the living standards of low-income families, especially in rural areas. It has constructed over 2,500 houses and initiated various livelihood projects in over 500 villages across the country.
