A hailstorm this afternoon damaged around 15 acres of vegetable, crop and fruit farms in Ngedrupchhu chiwog of Chhubu Gewog in Punakha.
According to the chiwog’s Tshogpa, the storm, which lasted for about an hour, affected seven households. The gewog’s agriculture extension will carry out the official assessment of damages tomorrow.
