Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen graced the inauguration of Royal Society for Protection of Nature’s (RSPN) newly constructed headquarters building in Kawajangsa in Thimphu. Her Majesty is the Patron of the RSPN.
This year marks the silver jubilee anniversary of the establishment of the RSPN.
Following the inauguration, Her Majesty took a tour of the new office building.
Her Majesty also paid a visit to a Nature Club Exhibition held as part of the event. The exhibition was put up by the students of the partner schools of the RSPN- Changangkha Middle Secondary School, Mothithang Higher Secondary School and Rinchen Kuenphen Primary School.
Her Majesty also inaugurated the opening of the Jigme Khesar Environment Resource Centre and also toured the centre.
