Gyalpoizhing Higher Secondary School in Monggar won the intra-school Taekwondo Championship in the senior category with 90 points.
In a junior category, Chaskhar Lower secondary school was the champion with 117 points.
Winners of the Junior level will now play tournament in the eastern regional level while, winners of the senior category will directly take part in the National level, later towards the end of the year.
About 315 students from nine schools of Monggar took part in the tournament. It was organized by Monggar Dzongkhag Taekwondo Association with support from the education sector. It was funded by Bhutan Taekwondo Federation.
