The Foreign Secretary of Bhutan, and Indian Ambassador to Bhutan signed the minutes of the Third Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks today. With the signing of the minutes, the Government of India has formally approved Nu 28 bn allocated for the Project Tied Assistance in the current plan.
During the talks, the two sides reviewed the overall progress of the ongoing projects and approved some new projects as well. Most of the new priority projects are intended to boost the economy of the country, which has been affected by the pandemic. The meeting also discussed the progress of important projects that are being implemented outside the 12th Five Year Plan.
