Gambling house raided in Thimphu, three arrested

The Thimphu Police have raided a gambling House at Motithang in Thimphu and arrested two men in their forties and a 30-year-old woman. They were caught playing cards at around 7:42 pm yesterday. The gambling house belongs to the woman. The police seized Nu 100,000 from the gambling house and Nu 91,000 from the trio.

They were caught following a tip-off. The case will now be forwarded to the court. The Thimphu Police Division reported seven gambling cases this year, with five in court.
