Futsal tournament to combat addictionAs part of drug and alcohol advocacy programme, Drop-in centre under Youth Development Fund is organising futsal tournament called Recovery Cup. There are 24 teams competing in the tournament which began from July 1.

The competition is to engage youth in meaningful activities during their summer vacation.

A peer counsellor, Jigme Wangchuk said they are mostly engaging out-of-school youth. “Addiction is hard to deal with.”

He also said many youth are keen to take part in such activities, these days.

The theme for this year’s programme is, “Run Sweat, Say No to Drugs”.
