Of the nine suspects arrested by Zhemgang police in connection with the smuggling of golden scripture from Nyakhar Lhakhang in January, four were granted bail by Zhemgang Dzongkhag Court.
They had paid Nu.20,000 each as bail-out fees to the court.
Of the nine suspects, three could not be granted bail as they were the main suspects of the case.
The bail was granted after the first preliminary hearing, held yesterday, in the court.
Meanwhile, one of the suspects involved in the same smuggling case is still at large.
