Former NC MP obtains the highest votes from Gasa

Sangay-KhanduThe former National Council representative, Sangay Khandu, 34, secured 565 votes through EVMs and 38 votes through postal ballot.

He was elected as the National Council representative in 2008. In the National Council, Sangay Khandu served as the Chairman of Good Governance Committee and was members of several other committees.

The other contender, Tenzin, 32, obtained 391 votes. He got 16 votes through postal ballot. The third contestant, Yeshi Dorji, 34, secured 327 votes. He got 16 votes through postal ballot.
