A fire this morning gutted down a two-storey house in Tsholingkhar Gewog in Tsirang.
No casualties were reported. But the owner lost all his belongings. The house owner claimed that he lost more than Nu 300,000 cash and around 46 grams of gold.
The volunteers and police contained the fire from spreading to other nearby houses.
The fire was suspected to have started from electric short circuit.
