An exhibition, ‘His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and India’s Leadership,’ was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess, Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Princess, Kesang Choden Wangchuck, yesterday.
About 26 photographs of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo were displayed at the Nehru-Wangchuck Cultural Centre exhibition.
The exhibition also has a wide range of photographs from the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s enthronement in June, 1974 up to, as recent as, Indian Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhutan in June 2014.
The Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Gautam Bambawale and other dignitaries attended the inauguration.
