Dungzin Garab Rinpochhe graced a week-long Baza Guru Dungdrup at Yadi under Ngatshang Gewog in Monggar, yesterday.
It is being organised to mark the 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo and His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
The recitation is also to offer prayers for the long lives of His Majesty the King and the Gyaltsuen.
Thousand of devotees gathered to receive Throm Wang and recite Baza Guru. It is being organised by Yadi Community under Ngatsanga Gewog.
This is the first Baza Guru Dungdrup in the last 50 years in Yadi, the locals say.
