Druk Phuensum Tshogpa declares three more candidates

The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa has declared three more candidates for the upcoming National Assembly Election. The candidates will represent a constituency each in Haa, Samtse and Trashi Yangtse. The party has declared nineteen candidates so far.

29-year-old Sonam Peljore is representing the party from Sombaykha Constituency in Haa. He has a Bachelor’s in Bhutanese and Himalayan Studies from the College of Langauge and Cultural Studies in Trongsa. Before joining the party, he was a teacher.

 

 

 

 

 

28-year-old Sonam Lepcha is the party’s candidate representing the Phuntshopelri constituency in Samtse. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Geography from Sherubtse College. He served as a research officer before joining the party.

 

 

 

 

 

Tshering Tobgay is representing DPT from the Khamdang-Ramjar Constituency of Trashi Yangtse. The 32-year-old has a Bachelor’s in History and Political Science from Sherubtse College. Before joining the party, he served as a Mangmi in Yalang Gewog.
