Druk Gyalpo’s Relief fund bill passed unanimously

The National Assembly members unanimously passed the Druk Gyalpo’s Relief fund bill today.

The Ministry of Finance will increase the fund annually by Nu.20 million until the balance reaches the ceiling of Nu.100 million.

The amount may be increased further, with the approval of the parliament.

Private individuals and entities from within and outside the country can also donate towards the Druk Gyalpo’s Relief Fund, which shall not be included in the Nu.100 million deposited by the Ministry of Finance.
