Dorji Lopen appoints new principal of Nalendra Shedra

Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body appointed 39-year-old Pema Tenzin from Omtekha in Punakha as the new Principal of Nalendra Shedra in Punakha today.

Pema Tenzin began his monkhood from 9 years of age in the PungThim Dratshang and studied at Shar Chhungney Goempa and Shar Khothang Rinchenling Shedra.

For the past seven years, he has been serving as a teacher at the Nalendra Shedra.
