The Japanese government has agreed to provide a grant of Nu 523.8 M to develop a digital topographic map of parts of the country that haven’t been digitally mapped.
An exchange of notes was signed in New Delhi, India yesterday between the ambassadors of the two countries.
The digital map will provide latest and reliable geospatial information which will benefit numerous sectors including agriculture, environment and disaster prevention.
The project will be implemented by the National Land Commission Secretariat.
