Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority yesterday said Drukair’s captain who de-boarded the ailing passenger on September 25 did not breach any rules and norms of the civil aviation.
The authority had reviewed the report of the incident submitted by Drukir this month.
Officiating Director of the authority, Sangay Tenzin said the captain had de-boarded the passenger in light of safety concerns and was not intended to hurt the sentiment of the passenger.
Drukair’s report has been further submitted to the prime minister’s office and the information and communications minister for their information.
