Coinciding with the birthday of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, the Tsugla Lopen along with over a hundred monks from the Central Monastic Body conducted a Sangay Moenlhai Choga and Palden Lhamoi Babchoe at the Memorial Chorten in Thimphu yesterday.
The ritual ceremonies were conducted for the long life and wellbeing of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey. The daylong ritual also aimed to ward off unpredicted occurrence of misfortunes and diseases in the country.
