At about 12:30 AM this morning, a Maruti car was washed away while trying to cross the swollen Daulakhola stream.
The stream is about 4.5 km away from Gelegphu town along the Gelegphu – Zhemgang highway. According to sources, there was only the driver in the car when the incident happened. Locals living nearby could make to the spot on time and rescued the driver to safety.
