A group of Japanese are here in the capital to express their gratitude for the donations made by the Bhutanese government to Japan during the March 11 disaster last year.
The group arrived in the country yesterday. Today, the group interacted with the students of Pelkhil Higher Secondary School in the capital.
Kites were displayed in the open air made by the Japanese for dreams and aspirations to come true through interactions and togetherness.
Last year on March 11, an earthquake of magnitude 9.0 hit the North of Japan.Around 300,000 people were rendered homeless.
The group will leave tomorrow.
